One of the favorite destinations for Citrus County airboaters, besides the Tsala Apopka Chain of Lakes, is Lake Kissimmee. Base camp is usually Camp Mack (click here for map). You can call them at 1-800-243-8013. Even if they’re all booked up, they can point you to nearby accommodations.

As always with trail rides, pack a lunch, plenty of cold drinks and sunscreen, and rain gear.
